Raymond Williams is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Government and Politics in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. His primary field is American politics, especially in the presidential arena, and he has a keen interest in public policy and the Institute’s public service mission. Raymond has worked both as an analyst and research associate at the Congressional Research Service in DC. He is an active member of the American Political Science Association and a recipient of Greenville’s Young Citizen of the Year award. He holds an M.A. degree in Political Science from University of Maryland and a B.S. in Political Science from East Carolina University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
